Though roughly outlined, my journey aims to be free, minimizing the risk of accidents and allowing me to fully immerse myself in the landscapes and local cultures. I prioritize secondary roads, bike paths, and sometimes even trails and paths.
On the outbound leg, I will cross Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and finally Moldova, before returning to France through Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy.
I plan stages ranging from 60 to 160 km per day, with an average of 130 km per day.
The total theoretical number of hours spent riding is 190 hours, which averages 4 hours and 43 minutes per day. With favorable weather conditions, everything becomes “easy.”
For longer days: Departure at 6:00 a.m., a break at noon, and finishing early to rest.
